A Final Plot (FP) Number is the identity given to a reconstituted plot once a Town Planning scheme is sanctioned. When raw land is reorganised into a planned layout, each resulting plot gets a Final Plot number that ties it to the sanctioned scheme, its exact area, and its position on the approved plan.
The FP number is one of the strongest checks a Dholera buyer has. Land that sits inside an approved or sanctioned TP scheme and carries a Final Plot number is treated as deemed non-agricultural, which removes a major legal hurdle to lawful construction and ownership. A plot without a clear FP number, marketed only as being somewhere inside the SIR, deserves caution.
Because the FP record states the plot area in square metres from the official layout, it is also the reliable figure to rely on, rather than loose local units like bigha.
