Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC)
A major planned industrial corridor between Delhi and Mumbai; Dholera is one of its key nodes, often reported as its largest.
The Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is a large planned industrial and infrastructure corridor connecting the Delhi and Mumbai regions, developed to cluster manufacturing, logistics and new cities along its route. Dholera SIR is one of its nodes and is often described as its largest node, though the superlative is a reported claim rather than a hard official ranking.
The corridor is coordinated at the central level by NICDC, formerly DMICDC. Dholera's status as a DMIC node is part of why it attracts large anchors and national attention, and it is a key reason the project is planned as a joint state-and-centre effort.
