The expressway was reported inaugurated on 31 March 2026 and described as operational. We tag that reported and suggest verifying whether it is fully open end to end or partly open before treating the whole 109 km as live. The travel-time target is about 40 minutes, down from the earlier road journey of roughly 2 to 2.25 hours. Tolling is by FASTag, with a tolled section of about 30.7 km between Nari junction and Adhelai; we do not quote a rupee toll rate because a specific per-km figure is not reliably sourced.
Why it matters
The expressway is the near-term backbone of Dholera's access. Until the semi-high-speed rail arrives, targeted for 2030-31, and while the airport is completed, the road is how people and goods reach the city. It also strengthens the logistics case for the semiconductor fab, which needs reliable movement of equipment and staff. For buyers, nearness to the expressway is one of the confirmed, repeatable drivers of a plot's value.
